Other Information You Might Use When Filling In Prescription
OD stands for "oculus dexter," or right eye.
OS stands for "oculus sinister," or left eye.
If your prescription has PL or DS, the value should be 0.
The term PL (Plano) in your prescription indicates that there is no need for spherical correction in this eye.
When you see DS in your prescription, it means there is no need for astigmatism correction for this eye. DS stands for "diopter sphere".
While your prescription may not include PD, it's important to note that you still need to fill in your PD measurement. This information is crucial for the correct fitting of your eyeglasses or contact lenses.

Have Two PDs? (e.g. 62/59)

Understanding your PD measurement is crucial when ordering prescription eyeglasses. Typically, you'll have a Single PD, a single number that represents the distance between your pupils. This measurement is sufficient for most types of prescription eyeglasses.

If you find yourself with two numbers, you've likely been measured for Dual PD (also known as monocular PD). This practical measurement system, where each number represents the distance from a pupil to the bridge of your nose, is particularly useful for reading glasses. Understanding this will ensure you're well-prepared when ordering your glasses.

If your PD measurement has two identical numbers (e.g., 30/30), it's essentially a Single PD measurement. When you enter this information to order your glasses, you can add these numbers together, and we'll automatically divide them equally for you.

Two low numbers (e.g., 30/31): The first number is the monocular PD for the right eye (O.D.), and the second number is for the left eye (O.S.).
Two high numbers (e.g., 62/59) are used only for reading glasses. The first number is your Distance PD, and the second is your Near PD.

What is PD?
PD stands for Pupillary distance or interpupillary distance, which is the distance between the centers of the pupils of the eyes.

How do you find the pupillary distance on a prescription?
Pupillary distance measurements are not always listed on your prescription. However, they are easy to obtain using a ruler and a mirror.

How is the pupillary distance measured? It's a simple process that you can easily do at home.
Stand in front of a mirror.
Hold a ruler against your brow.
Close your right eye and align the ruler's 0 mm with the center of your left pupil.
Take your time. Look straight, close your left eye, then open your right eye.
Remember, the more accurate your measurement, the better your eyeglasses will fit. The line that lines up to the center of your right pupil is the PD.

How important is the PD for glasses?
Pupillary distance is needed to make a pair of prescription glasses because it tells the manufacturer where to put the optical center on each lens.

What happens if the pupillary distance is wrong?
If your pupil distance does not match the centers of your pupils, your vision will be affected. The wrong pupillary distance induces eye strain, fatigue, headaches, and blurry vision.

Which Is Better: Progressive or Bifocal Lenses?

As we age, our eyesight evolves. If you find yourself in need of more than one pair of glasses, you might be pondering, ‘Which is the optimal choice for me: progressive or bifocal lenses?’ The answer to this question is highly individual, depending on your specific needs and lifestyle.
Let’s take a look at the differences between progressive and bifocal lenses. Progressive lenses provide a seamless transition from distance to near vision, with no visible lines, while bifocal lenses have a distinct line separating the two prescriptions. This understanding will help you decide which is right for you.

Progressive Lenses
Progressive lenses, with their seamless transition between near and far vision, offer the adaptability of a single-vision lens while catering to all distances.

Some popular types of progressive lenses include:
Standard Progressive: These are some of the most inexpensive progressive lenses, featuring a large field of view.
Short-Corridor Progressive: These are the best progressive lenses for small frames, and they can also offer a larger reading part than standard progressive when using the same frame. This means you can read comfortably without having to adjust your glasses frequently.
Computer Progressive: These are a good option for people who spend much time on the screen. However, if you select these progressive lenses, you’ll need another pair of glasses for daily wear.
Premium Progressive: These are the best options for progressive lenses because they are designed to fit frames, prescriptions, and actual eyes. They are also easier to get used to than other types of progressive lenses.
Ground-View Progressive: This is a fantastic option for people who often look at computers or the ground. It’s also suitable for athletes.

Bifocal Lenses
Bifocal lenses, with their lines separating two different prescriptions, offer a convenient solution. The distance prescription on top and the reading distance on the bottom, which is good for viewing objects up close, provide a practical and efficient way to manage your vision needs. With bifocal lenses, different shapes of lenses can help you get the most out of your prescription.

Some of these include:
D-Shape:  there is a distinct line separating near and distant vision.
Round: The lower part of the bifocal lens is rounded, giving you a less distinct separating line.

So, which is better: progressive or bifocal lenses? Consider this:
Progressive lenses lack lines and help you see at three distances.
Bifocals have lines and allow for two prescriptions and two distances.
Many types of bifocals and progressive lenses are available for different needs. The key is to understand your unique vision requirements and lifestyle, and then consult with an eye care professional to choose the right eyeglasses lenses for your needs.

What is ADD?

The Add, or Reading Addition, is a practical additional correction required for reading. It's a key element in making reading glasses, bifocal glasses, or multifocal glasses. If you opt for bifocal/progressive lenses, the ADD number is a crucial part of your prescription, ensuring you're fully prepared for your visual needs.

The 'Add' is a significant figure, indicating the extra power needed 'on top' of the distance prescription for near or intermediate glasses. This extra power, always the same for each eye, is a key part of your prescription, ensuring you have the right visual aids. The measurement is in Dioptres, with most values ranging from +0.50 to +3.50, increasing in steps of 0.25.

The 'Add' is a necessary addition if your glasses are for reading or close work. It's important to note that if you have ADD and choose distance glasses, they're only suitable for seeing far, not for reading. Sometimes, opticians use the terms 'Add' or 'Near' instead of 'addition', but the purpose remains the same.

Knowledge about Eyeglasses Prescription

1. Myopia

Myopia, the most common refractive error of the eye, is a condition many people experience. If you are nearsighted, you typically will have difficulty in seeing distant objects clearly but will be able to see well for close-up tasks such as reading and computer use. If there is a minus in your SPH, it means you have myopia (nearsightedness).
E.g.:

Click to know

2. Hyperopia

People with hyperopia need correction focusing on objects that are both up close and far and often feel eyestrain. The condition is sometimes referred to as "hypermetropia." If there is a plus in your SPH, it means you have hyperopia (farsightedness).
E.g.:

Click to know

3. Presbyopia

Presbyopia is when your eyes gradually lose the ability to see things up close. The word "presbyopia" means "old eye" in Greek. You may start to notice presbyopia shortly after age 40.
E.g.:

Click to know

4. Astigmatism

Astigmatism is a common vision problem caused by an error in the shape of the cornea, the front surface of the eye. With astigmatism, the lens of the eye or the cornea has an irregular curve. This can change the way light passes, or refracts, to your retina. This causes blurry, fuzzy, or distorted vision.

5. SPH(Sphere )

SPH (Sphere) indicates the amount of lens power prescribed to correct nearsightedness or farsightedness. To reiterate, if the number appearing under this heading has a minus sign (–), you are nearsighted; if the number has a plus sign (+) or is not preceded by a plus sign or a minus sign, you are farsighted. Understanding these key points will give you confidence in interpreting your prescription.

6. CYL (Cylinder)

CYL (Cylinder) indicates the amount of lens power for astigmatism. This number also has "+" or "-" signs. If "DS," "SPH," "spherical," or "PL" is stated in the place of CYL, it means you have no astigmatism.

7. Axis

The axis indicates the orientation of astigmatism, measured in degrees from 1 to 180. If an eyeglass prescription includes cylinder power, it also must include an axis value, which follows the cylinder power.

8. OD. OS. OU

"OD" and "OS" are universally recognized abbreviations for oculus dexter and oculus sinister, which are Latin terms for the right eye and the left eye.
Understanding these terms is crucial for interpreting your eyeglass prescription. Your prescription may also have a column labeled "OU." This is the abbreviation for the Latin term oculus uterque, which means "both eyes."

9. Prism

Prism, a precise tool, is used to correct vision displacement. It is particularly effective in addressing special conditions or eye disorders, such as squints, where the focused image needs to be repositioned. The measurement is in Prism Dioptres, with values that can range as high as 10 and increase in steps of ½ or 1 Prism Dioptres.
Prism powers are always tailored to the individual's needs and are accompanied by a specific direction, often referred to as a base direction such as IN, OUT, UP, and DOWN. For instance, a prescription might read Prism 2.00 Base IN. In some cases, a person may require a prism in two directions for one eye, such as Prism 2.00 Base IN & 1.00 Base UP.
When ordering single-vision glasses for a prism prescription, it's crucial to upload the original prescription picture. This ensures that the glasses are accurately tailored to your needs.

Can I use the copy of my eyeglass prescription which was issued by my doctor 3 years ago?

No. We suggest you order from us using your eyeglass prescription in the last two years. Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) suggest an eye exam every six months or one year to detect any possible eye diseases in the earlier stage.

Can I use contact lens prescription for ordering glasses?

No, contact and eyeglass prescriptions differ; using them interchangeably will cause problems with your glasses. Make sure you have the correct prescription before entering it.

The ADD of progressive just have one side, but I need both sides?

In general, the ADD of both eyes should be the same, so you can only see one ADD when you place your order. After we have made them, both eyes will have the ADD.

Can I save my prescription for immediate use on my next order?

Of course, you can log into your account first and save your prescriptions to select your saved prescriptions when you place your order.

Can you help me to confirm that my order is the same as my Rx?

Of course. You need to email us your Rx, your order information, and your contact information, and we will reply within 24 hours.

What if my prescription has expired?

We recommend getting an eye exam every two years and updating your prescription if your vision changes.

Can you fill in strong prescriptions?

Of course. The single vision prescription can be made as 1.74 High-Index lenses. The SPH can be made from -20.00 ~ +12.00. If you want to know the strong prescriptions in detail, you can contact our customer service.

I ordered the progressive lenses, why is there only one ADD value on my prescription?

One ADD value progressive glass is applied to both lenses.

Do blue light glasses really work?

What is Blue Light?
Blue light is emitted all around us, every day — both indoors and outdoors. Extended exposure to certain wavelengths may cause eye fatigue and discomfort. Our blue light filtering glasses are designed to protect you from potentially harmful blue light, whether it's from the screens on your digital devices or the sun, providing comprehensive protection wherever you go.

How Does Blue Light Affect Us?
Our constant connection to our smartphones, tablets, and laptops may contribute to headaches, sore eyes, and stiff necks — all symptoms of digital eyestrain. However, there is hope in the form of blue light glasses (or blue light-blocking glasses). These are gaining popularity due to claims that they can protect your eyes against potential damage. Here, we’ll take a closer look into the scientific research behind blue light glasses, and whether they can indeed provide relief.

*Disclaimer: The harmful blue-violet light, which blue light glasses are designed to block, falls within the range of 415-455nm.

Protect Your Eyes with Blue Light Filtering Glasses
Our blue light filtering glasses, available in both non-prescription and prescription options, are not just a fashion statement. They are designed to protect your eyes from extended exposure to harmful blue-violet light, promoting better eye health. Whether you’re a gamer, a late-night worker, or a binge-watcher, these glasses are a must-have for your daily routine.

How do I get thinner lenses?

The thickness of the lens is related to the lens index; generally speaking, the higher the indexes are, the thinner and lighter the lens becomes.

What are Photochromic Lenses?

Photochromic Lenses, with their unique ability to transition from clear to dark when exposed to light, offer unparalleled convenience. They maintain their clear appearance indoors and automatically darken when you step into a brighter area, even on overcast days. This adaptive feature not only ensures comfort but also provides a secure shield against glare, giving you a sense of security in bright outdoor conditions.

What is the material of your lens?

Our lenses are made of resin, which is lightweight and highly impact-resistant. Resin lenses also have a solid ability to block ultraviolet radiation to protect your eyes.

Difference between Spherical Lens and Aspherical Lens

Generally speaking, spherical lenses are thick, and the images through them will be distorted. With the same prescription and index, aspherical lenses are thinner, lighter, and more comfortable for wearers. Aspherical lenses have a broader vision, making their images more real and natural.

Lens Functions

1. Single vision lens

Single-vision prescription lenses are for those who need to correct one field of vision, be it for distance, intermediate (computer), or near vision (reading). They offer the same amount of vision correction throughout the entire lens. Importantly, there is no ADD in the prescription and, to your relief, no lens height requirements for a single-vision prescription. This means you can focus on your vision without additional constraints.

2. Bifocals

Bifocals (sometimes called “lined bifocals”) contain two prescriptions within the same lens and can correct both nearsightedness and farsightedness. The top portion of the lens is used for distance, while the bottom portion is used for closer vision. A noticeable line separates the zones.

3. Progressives

Progressives are multifocal lenses that contain at least three prescriptions. They have three main fields of vision: near, intermediate, and distance. However, progressives do not have a visible line between prescriptions. This gives the wearer a seamless and uninterrupted transition when looking from up-close objects to far-away distances.

Advanced Progressive lens

Advanced Progressive lenses, the preferred choice for high-definition vision, are crafted with free-form technology to deliver superior optics. These progressives, placed on the backside of the lens, not only enhance visual fields but also ensure maximum comfort, minimizing any potential discomfort. Their ease of adaptation, compared to standard progressive lenses, further enhances the comfort they provide.

4. Computer lens

The lenses of computer glasses are designed to address the eye strain caused by computer screens. They are specifically calibrated for an intermediate distance of around 20 to 26 inches, which is the distance most people sit from their monitors. This information is crucial for you to understand how these glasses can effectively reduce your eye strain. Many computer glasses have light yellow/brown tinted lenses to block out blue light radiating from electronic devices.

5. Reading glasses

What're the difference between Tint lens, Photochromic lens and Polarized lens?

The tinted lens is a versatile choice, providing a consistent effect whether you're indoors or outside.

The photochromic lens offers a seamless transition, staying transparent indoors and darkening when you step outside.

The polarized lens, with its consistent color indoors and outdoors, offers superior protection compared to the tinted lens, effectively filtering harmful UV rays.

What is the difference between single-vision and progressive lenses?

Single-vision lenses are your versatile companions. They are designed for specific uses, whether it's for seeing objects in the distance, focusing on your computer or phone screen, or for reading. With these lenses, you're always prepared for the task at hand.

Progressives, on the other hand, are a game-changer. These prescription eyeglasses adapt to your vision needs, correcting both near and farsightedness. This adaptability liberates you from the need to switch between multiple pairs of glasses, allowing you to see your entire field of vision with ease.

Can you replace lenses if I send you my frame?

Sorry, we don't provide lens replacement.

What are Polarized lenses?

A Polarized lens is a kind of sunglasses that significantly reduces the glare from Polarized light horizontally. This means the light reflects off horizontal surfaces, such as a white sidewalk, a white-sand beach, snow, or sunlight reflecting on the water.

What do the Lens Index numbers mean?

The Lens Index number (1.57, 1.61, 1.67, 1.71, or 1.74) refers to the degree of refraction the lens provides. This means how much the light that enters the lens is refracted (bent) as it passes through the lens.

How do I get thinner lenses?

The thickness of the lens is related to the lens index. We offer lenses with different indexes. Generally speaking, the higher the indices, the thinner and lighter the lens. People with higher prescriptions should choose high-index lenses.

Is there a way to try out your frames and see which ones fit me best?

Absolutely! Click TRY ON when you've found a pair of specs you like. It'll take you to the Try On Feature, our virtual mirror. Upload a photo from your device, and you can try on as many of our frames as you want.

Is there a way to reorder a pair I bought previously?

Of course! Log into your account and look up the previous order. You will see the word Reorder next to the order number if the frame is currently available.

Can I add glasses to an order once I pay for it?

I'm sorry, but once an order has been placed, you can't add more glasses. Suppose you place another order to the same address before shipping the first package. In that case, you can contact customer service to combine the two orders, ship them together within one package, and refund one shipping fee!

Is it required that all the glasses on the order have the same prescription?

Not! You can order different pairs of glasses for your whole family, with all other prescriptions, in one order.

Can I order more than one pair of glasses per order?

Sure, you can order as many pairs of glasses as you like! Once you add a pair to the Shopping Cart, click the Continue Shopping button in the middle or at the bottom right of the Shopping Cart page.

What is necessary to place order at Vooraya?

1. Prescription and PD
A valid eyeglass prescription is a pad issued by your eye doctor after an eye exam, specifying all the numbers and signs which is used for us to produce eyeglasses for you. This is different from a contact lens prescription, which is specifically for contact lenses and may have different measurements and specifications.

PD, or Pupillary Distance, is a crucial measurement. It's the distance between your pupils in millimeters and plays a significant role in accurately fitting your lenses for optimal visual acuity. If your prescription doesn't include a PD value, you can measure it yourself, although it's always best to consult your doctor for the most accurate results.

If your eyes are in good health and you don't require prescription lenses, you have the option to choose non-prescription lenses. This gives you the freedom to select eyewear that suits your style and needs.

2. PayPal Account/Credit Card/Debit Card/Google Pay/Apple Pay
We currently accept payment methods via PayPal, Credit Card, and debit Card/Google Pay/Apple Pay, which guarantees a convenient and secure payment environment. By the way, we do not currently accept checks and cash.

3. Shipping address
Your shipping information, including your Name, Residential/Postal address, and Phone Number, is necessary.

4. Frame size and frame style

Sunglasses

What are mirrored lenses?

Mirrored lenses are created with a highly reflective coating that reduces glare by reflecting light away. (Unfortunately, we don't currently offer mirrored lenses.)

What is the best tint color for sunglasses?

It's essential to consider your specific requirements when choosing sunglasses' tint color, such as the intended use, lighting conditions, personal style preferences, and any additional features. Here are a few popular options:

Gray: Gray tints provide natural color perception, making them suitable for various activities and environments. They reduce brightness without distorting colors.

Brown/Amber: Brown or amber tints enhance contrast and depth perception, providing more precise vision in bright conditions. (e.g., outdoor activities like hiking or fishing)

Green: Green tints offer excellent color balance and clarity while reducing glare, such as water bodies or snowy landscapes.

Yellow/Orange: Yellow or orange tints improve depth perception but may distort colors slightly. They enhance visibility in low-light conditions, making them famous for sports like shooting or skiing during overcast days.

Can I get sunglasses that are also thin lenses?

Of course! If you order Rx sunglasses, you can get the lens with the index recommended for your Rx to keep your lenses nice, light, and thin. If you get non-Rx sunglasses, your lenses will be thin.

frames

How to choose frames?

It's all up to your likings and dislikings to choose the frames that best fit you. Though it is a tricky question to answer, there are several concerns we should be aware of before determining which frame is a wise selection for you.

1. Eyeglasses and face shape
Each pair of eyeglasses only flatters certain types of faces. The criterion is that the frame shape should contrast with the wearer's face shape. Each customer must know exactly his or her own face shape.

1.1 Oval face:
Among all facial shapes, the oval is an easy-going one because it has well-balanced proportions.Good frames for this group of people include frames that have an equal width of the broadest part of the face. It's important to avoid frames that are too deep or narrow, as they can disrupt the balance of the oval face shape.

1.2 Oblong face:
An oblong face has more length than its width. Oblong-faced customers are encouraged to try tall frames that help create a shorter face or broad frames with an accented top rim. The other task is to avoid all frames that may accentuate face length.

1.3 Square face:
People with square faces have the same proportions of face width and length. They usually have a strong jawline and a broad forehead. Narrow oval frames are a good option, and eyewear frames that can soften the angles are suitable.

1.4 Round face:
This face is similar to a square face regarding width and length distribution. A noticeable difference lies in that a round face has no angles but curved lines. Angular, narrow frames, and geometric frames are good options.

1.5 Diamond face:
People with diamond faces have broad cheekbones and a naturally narrow eyeline and jawline. Cat-eye glasses and rimless glasses are good options for this face type.

1.6 Triangle faces:
Understanding the base-down triangle and base-up triangle, two opposite facial shapes, is the first step. The next is to use this knowledge to your advantage. The first one, with its narrow forehead and wide cheek and chin areas, can be enhanced with the right hairstyle and accessories, just like the second one, which has a wide top third and narrow bottom third. For the first group of customers, it's about using these tools to add width to the narrow upper third of the face. In contrast, the second group of customers should focus on adding width to the bottom third. This understanding puts you in control, allowing you to confidently enhance your unique features.

1.7 Heart face:
A heart face features a broad forehead and wide cheekbones but a narrow, small chin. Narrow, round frames can soften the forehead.

2. Skin color
When selecting eyeglass frames, your skin color is the second consideration. It's important to choose frames that not only match your complexion but also align with your personal style and preferences. If you have a warm skin tone, you might prefer frames in colors like gold, copper, orange, red, and yellow. For those with a cold skin tone, frames in black, brown, and blue could be more to your liking.

3. Lifestyle and personality
Your lifestyle and personality are the significant determinants in choosing your frames. You may select sheerly differentiated eyeglasses for yourself just for different occasions.

Frame Materials

Metal is the most widely used material for eyeglass frames. Many people opt for metal frames because they are attractive, malleable, and resistant to corrosion.

Titanium frames are trendy because they are lightweight, durable, strong, and corrosion-resistant. They are also hypoallergenic and retain their shape better than other metals.

Plastic
TR90 is referred to as plastic titanium, a memory polymer material frame. TR frame is lightweight and impact-resistant at high temperatures. It is colorful and has no release of chemical residues.

Acetate, a nylon-based plastic, is a visual treat with its high, rich luster. Available in a variety of colors, it is crafted into high-quality, sandwiched sheets. Its hard, glossy texture strengthens steel skin, ensuring solid performance, appearance, and style. Its resistance to color deformation further enhances its visual appeal.

Do you have spring hinges glasses?

Of course. We offer spring hinge glasses whose temples are not snapped or broken easily! Please visit this link to check the details.

Frame Size and Strong Rx

When purchasing single vision eyeglasses, wearers with higher prescription-strength should be aware that a large frame with a wider lens is not recommended. Opting for a smaller and narrower lens width not only contributes to a thinner edge and lighter weight but also enhances comfort, providing you with a more enjoyable wearing experience.

a. Applying higher-index lenses (1.61 indexes and above) can solve the problem of having a thick edge on the Negative lens or a thick center on the Positive lens.

b. For the farsighted wearers (There is a '+' in front of the SPH value) who want to select the higher index lens above the 1.61 index, it's crucial to avoid choosing big frames with wide lenses. The higher index positive lens is with a smaller diameter (55mm) which might be insufficient to be polished based on the frame with a wide lens. Instead, a frame with a lens width of 50mm or shorter is recommended, providing you with the guidance you need for a comfortable fit.

c. For wearers with a comparatively small PD (the distance between your pupils is less than 58mm), it's crucial to pay more attention to the total width of the size, as a larger frame may not match your PD. A smaller frame with a lens width of 50mm or lower should be considered the first choice to ensure the accuracy of your prescription and that your unique needs are met.

Can I order frames without lenses?

You're in the driver's seat when you opt for Frame Only in your order. You'll be directed to a page where you can select the type of non-prescription lenses you prefer. Most frames are equipped with retainer lenses (not of optical lens quality) to ensure the Frame's integrity during shipping. However, you have the freedom to remove them if you wish.

My frame is out of stock. Can you notify me when it's back in stock?

Sure. Enter your email address in the space provided, and we'll let you know when the item becomes available.

Full-rim, half-rim, or rimless?

Full-rim glasses, suitable for strong prescriptions, are available in our store. They are generally more durable than half-rim or rimless frames, making them a practical and long-lasting choice for your eyewear needs.

Half-rim frames, a great choice for those with slim faces, offer a balance of durability and style. They reveal more of your face than full-rim frames and are sturdier than rimless glasses, ensuring a long-lasting investment.

Rimless glasses, a perfect choice for those who handle their glasses with care, offer a practical solution. They are practically invisible on the face, providing a subtle and elegant look.

Do the frames come in different sizes?

All of our frames come in one size. The details will be listed under the product description. Please use the advanced search to find the one that best suits you.

How do I make sure the frame size is right for me?

Rest assured, you can easily find the measurements on your previous glasses. Simply check the inner temple arm and you'll likely find some numbers there.
The first number is lens width, the second is the bridge and the third is the temple. If you don't find the numbers on the inside of your frame, remember you can always measure them by hand. You have the power to do this.

What should I do if the frame doesn't fit me well?

Humbly contact us within the first 30 days after you've received the glasses. We can send you a new one or refund your money after you return the glasses.
Tips: We are not responsible for the return postage cost.

Can I get the frames in a different color?

Of course, our frames usually have more than one color, so you can choose the color you like on the extreme bottom-right corner of the frame.

Delivery/Shipping

I just placed several orders. Can I combine the shipments?

Kind notice
If you've ordered up to 4 pairs of glasses and haven't used any vouchers or promotions, we can combine them for one shipment and refund part of the shipping fee to you.
Even if you've used a promotion in your orders, we understand the importance of convenience. That's why we offer the flexibility to combine the shipments, although no refund of the shipping fee will be provided. This way, you can still manage your orders in a way that suits you best.
If the quantity of your several orders is more than 4 pairs and you use no discounts, it will exceed the parcel weight. In such cases, we won't be able to refund the shipping fee. We want to ensure you are fully informed about our policies, so you can make the best decisions for your orders.

What can I do if I am required to pay import taxes or customs duties?

Customs duty is a tax levied on imports (and, sometimes, on exports) by the customs authorities of a country. It serves two main purposes: to raise state revenue, and to protect domestic industries from more efficient or predatory competitors from abroad. Understanding this tax can help you make informed decisions about your imports.
Customs duty is occasionally required in some countries.
When you receive notification to pay the duty fee, we strongly advise you to contact us first. This will allow us to provide you with the best possible solutions, ensuring you are in control of your financial decisions.
Please note that we will only reimburse customs duty fees with Vooraya's confirmation. This process is in place to ensure your security and confidence in the reimbursement process.
